While the modern glazing, most notably floor to ceiling in the kitchen and dining area, and in a new glass link between the two original buildings, provides a real wow factor.

East Wittering has a pebble beach that is popular with surfers, and some laid-back, surf-style cafes. Chichester Harbour is home to a sailing club and marina, and is also a great place for a walk. Pagham Harbour Nature Reserve is a sheltered inlet that hosts some important wetland wildlife – and is very much undeveloped. Most of the coast is accessible by bike from the Farm Barns, so bring your bikes and make the most of the sea air.
For more cultural pursuits, Chichester has a museum dedicated to the town’s Roman history, the Novium Museum, the world-renowned Chichester Festival Theatre, and the Pallant House Gallery, home to some of the country’s best modern art – and worth a visit for the stunning architecture alone.
The Goodwood Estate has a year-round programme of events and hosts everything from the Glorious Goodwood race meeting to retro-themed Revival, a celebration of classic cars and a feast for the eyes!
Food and Drink
Only slightly inland, the Crab & Lobster at Sidlesham is a locals’ favourite and is well-known for its seafood. The Lamb Inn, at West Wittering is popular with families and has a lovely garden, as does the Old House at Home, at East Wittering.

Reviews
The Farm Barns are stunning and we received a warm friendly welcome.
This place is just out of the world. Comfortable, clean, fresh, warm. Just simply ideal.
Really beautiful barn with three fantastic rooms.
Amazing views over fields and a great location close to the beautiful coastline and Chichester town.
The Farm Barn is total heaven. There is a divine smell that permeates the whole house, the underfloor heating means it’s warm underfoot everywhere (total treat) and the interiors are just gorgeous. We genuinely only left to get provisions for the weekend, otherwise it was a perfect spot to hunker down for the weekend. It’s huge inside, with high quality spec on everything. Couldn’t recommend it more and just wish we could move in!
Amazing stay – a beautiful barn with everything you could possibly need to hand. Holly is a fantastic host. The views and location are perfect. We’ll definitely be back!
