Description
There are some homes that just ooze sophistication, and the Little Annexe is definitely one of them. Attached to the owner’s property, the Old Rectory, Little Annexe is a testament to their sense of style and superb attention to detail.
The ground floor rooms and hallways are decorated in a palette of greys and greens, while the two double bedrooms are sumptuously and individually styled – one in rich berry colours, the other in delicate pastels, but both with rich upholstery, crisp white bed linen and plump cushions. The two bathrooms are light and bright with gold accessories. The kitchen is similarly stylish and well equipped, including a coffee machine to get you up and about on those weekend mornings! Although the beautiful countryside views from the bedroom windows will help, too….
Outside a patio is at your disposal for summer evenings, and inside, the electrcic wood burner will keep you cosy on winter nights.
Little Annexe is dog friendly and it is just as well – the South Downs Way is just a 20 minute walk up the hill, so it’s the perfect spot for doggy adventures. Throw in a village pub, and close proximity to Goodwood and coast, and this may just be the perfect weekend bolthole, at any time of year.

Beautiful place – we had a lovely stay. Very comfy beds!
My husband and I had one night stay in Katie’s beautiful cottage, it was well equipped, very comfortable and tastefully decorated. It is in a perfect position near to the village store, church and local pub. All in all 10 out of 10.
So helpful, great site and our hosts were incredibly accommodating. We found a brilliant place to stay at very short notice, so many wonderful properties to consider for another time too! Would definitely recommend Little Annexe at The Old Rectory, wonderful place for a family break.
Magnificent sanctuary and a magnificent host. We needed somewhere to relax and re-charge and that is exactly what we got in a stylish and cosy setting with the support of a wonderful host. Thank you so much.
We had a nice stay, every step was made easy from booking to checking out and we were kept really well informed by the host. The accommodation itself was spotless when we arrived and had a homely feel to it. A very comfortable and enjoyable stay. Thank you.
Little Annexe at The Old Rectory is a wonderful peaceful place in the middle of the South Downs National Park. The host has created a beautiful place and everything you could possibly need during your stay. We very much enjoyed our stay and didn’t want to leave again. We can very much recommend this little haven, even if it was for one night.

We used Cabins and Castles to find a holiday cottage. They have such an amazing range of fantastic properties. We had such a great holiday and will definitely be booking through Cabins and Castles again.
